Flying to Newfoundland with the wife on November 2nd. My 16th trip to the Rock. Moose hunting never gets old.

Currently in Ontario moose hunting the owners of camp came in this morning with two cows

What you shoot it with?

I was shooting a Winchester md 70 300 Wby Mag with Nosler 200 gr Partition. He was facing me about 200 yds. I shot him right thru the Brisket. And dropped him to his knees. He turned broadside and I shot him thru the shoulders. And he went straight down. The woop of shoots were unreal.

It was a cancelation Moose so I got it at a good price. I wanted to take my Grandson as I have shot Moose before and watching him shoot one would have been one of my greatest rewards. He didn't have enough vacation to go. So I decided I would be the shooter. Maybe next year, who knows.

when 30 gallon garbage barrels look like 5 gallon buckets you got some size to those moose.
