They do it once in awhile out back when it’s dark. Guess they think they’re safe but but the pulsar proves them wrong every time.

Had them bark and half howl like a challenge.
One time had a double and oddest trapped coyote behavior I’d seen yet. First set was a dirt hole bait set and had a female and she cowered and I noticed she was all bit to (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and torn up. Second set had this nice big kind of Wolfy looking male and it was only coyotes ever caught that was literally on “my end of the chain” and lunging at me, teeth bared, growing and snarling. When I first got out of truck he was barking and yipping at me the whole time I walked up. Then as I got closer he changed his tune to very aggressive, something I’d never seen out of any trapped coyote and to this day still haven’t. Wow he wanted to tear into me. I put him down right away and was glad for good trap and chain. My guess is he is one that bit up the female but I’ll never know that for sure. I suppose it’s like humans sometimes there are just jerks in animal world too. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

In 2008, when I first got into trail cameras, I had my cameras up in the woods like a trap line. I went out on a Friday night around midnight to check them. When I got to my first camera I heard something coming towards me. I crouched down thinking how cool it would be if I watched my camera capture a deer pic. Whatever it was, it stopped moving, then split up and started to work downwind of me. I now knew there was more than one, but still thought it was deer. Once one of those yotes winded me it let out an alarm bark. I darn near leaped out my clothes. There was 3 of them and they tore out of there, but as I walked to the rest of my cameras they followed me. They'd come in, bark, scare the crap out of me, and then run away. This went on for about an hour, and they followed me all the way home. I was armed, so I had no reason to be scared, but I've got to admit it was unnerving to watch them act like that. They're a cool critter. I love trapping them. Wish I was better at it! Joe
