Bridger 2 dogless fan here, too. Great coyote trap. I’d rather buy two or three bridgers than one alpha but that’s my budget. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Personally I’d look at NO BS if I was going to spend what Alphas cost…just my opinion.

I had success last year running mostly NoBS extremes and Duke 650’s.
The NoBS were mostly bought second hand of the trap shed for around $15/trap.
The Duke 650 came new for around the same $15/trap.
Maybe the Alpha’s are great traps and worth the investment, but I had an issue last year with a new Freedom Brand dog proof and got zero help from their customer service. Was told since I set the trap, it was not a warranty claim. Even though the wire springs sprung and bent the first time I set it. Not good.

So I've been in love with the Bridger #2 dogless since they came out. At this point they have completely replaced every k9 trap I own. I was recently told about the Alpha 2s and they look like something i could spend alot of money on. I'm curious to hear from people that use them, how they like them? Are they worth twice the price then the Bridger #2 dogless? Where are they manufactured? And most importantly what modifications are required out lf the box? When it comes to traps, it's all personal preference and what works best for you. If you like the Bridger #2 dogless that much, stick with it.

I also have a dozen originals ALPA's and like them. I'm sure there are better traps out their but these have their place on my lines. I believe FB purchased them shortly after they came out.
