Yankees are along with the Mets. Now we wait for the Guardians/Tigers and the Padres and Dodgers to see who moves on. Two NY teams in the finals for their league. They spent a lot of money and I guess when winning is the big deal it is "Paying" off!

Yeah, not completely disappointed, just the freakin Yankees lol. Time to retool, I'm excited at what they do in the off-season.

Padres need to win tonight if I'm going to have any games worth watching after tonight. frown

Dodgers were able to silence the Padres bats. Robinson did a masterful job of managing the bullpen game and this series winning game. Darvish threw two mistakes all night and that was it. Padres went scoreless for 23 innings! Dodgers pitching staff was suspect and they made the difference.

I am disappointed the Phillies did not make it, but I am not surprised, as I had a gut feeling the Mets would take them out. I will watch the remaining games, not sure who I will root for. I am thinking I will root for the American League in the World Series.

I will root for the NL as I have always done, but this year I am less enthusiastic about doing so. Cleveland is the only remaining lower salary team in the playoffs and if they could move forward for me that would be a good thing.

I’ll root for whoever is facing the Dodgers from here on out. I don’t particularly care for any of the other remaining teams and unlike Brice I don’t care about how much money a team has or spends. Actually I could like Freeman and Ohatani if they were on other teams like the padres, cubs or Phillies. laugh

The Indians pulled it out against the best starting pitcher in the American League. Time to roll over and play dead for the Yankees like they usually do. Hope not, but they will be real lucky to see a game 6.

So for the next few games it'll be the Mets, and if they can't get the job done, then whichever team wins the AL. If the Mets beat out the Dodgers, and that's a big IF, I'd prefer they face the Indians and get beat. If it's Mets vs. Yankees, kind of a toss up. If it's Dodgers vs. Yankees, go Yankees!

Cleveland looked flat tonight. Their rookie pitcher had a couple bad innings. Not a good way to start a series.

Maybe the Indians will turn it around playing at home.

Cleveland just looked out classed by the Yankees. Yankees are hitting against what is supposed to be a very good pitching staff and that can make this a short series. Looking forward to watching the game tonight. I will be in the woods for 5 days so won't see anything until the middle of next week.

Mets better get their crap together fast. They lose this one and I'll have to root for the Yankees in WS. Mets will not be able to come back and win both of the next two, much like the Indians, it'd take a miracle!

Things aren't looking good for the Mets. I despise the Dodgers,
