Got done hunting a couple nights ago. Needed gas so I headed a couple miles to the station and about 1/4 mile from my destination I heard a thud. I didn't think much of it but my brother immediately goes " did you take your bow off the top of the car after you got the climber in there" no, in fact I had not taken my bow off the top of the car. Not a very good Pic but pretty self explanatory. Only salvageable parts are the sight and rest.

I have a backup so really it's just the annoyance. If I'm being honest with myself I'm a little surprised I haven't had more expensive mistakes. I take care of my things but I'm also the type while I'm actually using something I tend to not be able to keep track of. I've sprinkled more turkey strikers and conibear setters across the landscape than I would care to admit.

I have a similar problem with hand staplers. I have about 4 of them, but only remember where I can find one. It seems every time I can't find one, rather than waste time, it's seemed quicker just to buy a new one. frown

My wife wants me to wear a bracelet that belonged to her grandfather. It says, "Do Not Resuscitate".
