Tonight I drank water, pear juice and Amaretto. In 1906, at age 16, my paternal, paternal great grandfather moved to the US from Sicily, because he got angry his dad didn't pay him for the almonds he picked to make Amaretto. I frequently drink Amaretto. I want to make it. A friend of my youngest siblings has the equipment and license to make and sell booze. I hope to grow enough apricots and bitter almonds in the future to make large, legal, batches of Amaretto with him.
