Being trained by two military retired instructors, as a tactical mindset, they like black the best. Nothing bright or shiny that can be seen in dusk or twilight lighting , or caught glinting from a flashlight.

So, I do prefer black. Also wood grain for rifles, though black stocks have their place . Just my preference, is all.

If any colour , pink as well, works to help the girls become inspired , I'm all in for supporting them.

Completely agree. I am very feminine. I don't personally want to ditch my nature so I could "fit in" with the gun/hunting/ trapping boy's.

I want girls to at least be comfortable with a side arm for self defense. If pink makes them happy...well

My grandsons all got a cricket on thier first birthday. The ones I bought came with a soft case and a cricket scope in a kit. My gunstore had one that came with rails and bipod dressed out like a sniper rifle. I named it the "Tac Tot", short for tactical toddler. Great little guns.

So we just came in from the range and my niece has a Cricket with a wood laminate stock. Fun little gun to play with but it shoots low at 50' with iron sights. Once we figured that out we where chewing out the bulleyes in the targets.

Great little trapline rifles. Handy to collect a bunny or gamebird for the dinner pot too.
