Who makes specific sets for different species at the same locations? Example a showy walk-thru bobcat set in rimrock with 110 conibear boxes for ringtail cats or spotted skunks. (I have caught three bobcats by the paw in those 110 boxes). Or any showy bobcat set with snares or flat sets for the coyotes that circle. Canine or cat sets where you have beaver sets? Who routinely targets multiple species at the same locations and what are your favorite combinations?

Two or three marten boxes at each wolverine set is standard pretty much on my line. Most of the marten seem to want to climb rather than tromp on the trap on the ground.
I will also put blind foothold sets, big traps, within sight of wolverine cubbies, on the trails. Has produced a few wolves for me.

It’s a productive strategy. My late father in law told me repeatedly that if it’s good for one set, it’s good for three or four.

I've daydreamed of trapping Marten and Lynx and capitalizing on opportunities for wolves and wolverines along the way! Awesome.

All of the above, exept the cony set with the walk through mainly for raccoon.
Almost alway set snairs in conjunction with foothold while trapping cats.
I've had several doubles and one triple on coyotes in snairs set on cat trapps with a cat or other fur barer in the set I've even snared a good # of cats in the snairs.

I will use the same strategy when I relocate to the colonies. No reason to not, is there?

I do it all the time.Boxes and snares for land fur and beaver otter mink and rat sets at one stop for water fur.Even snares for land fur on the dam and in beaver skid trails Just before freeze up and for a while after beaver ponds are real fur pockets for all kinds of water and land fur.Only makes sense to have multiple sets for multiple species at each stop.
I set for all species at the same time.when running lines.More efficient

At beaver dams there are two types of cross overs. One is the watery one for beaver and otter and the other is for land animals.
the dams have rats living in them and mink go hunting there. so a total mixed bag including coyotes. I have had 20 traps set at one lodge in NY in less than 1/4 acre......jk
