Anyone else prefer listening to college football on the radio instead of watching it on TV?

Listening is still what I enjoy most. It's the Fall and I'm outside so it makes sense.

It was tough listening the last two weeks since OU got shellacked. This SEC thing isn't going so well.

A lot of times I'll mute the tv and listen to it on the radio. It can get interesting when the radio is about 5 seconds ahead of the tv.

The radio guys are usually better than TV guys, TV guys always favor the wrong team lol

Yea, I guess it got started with all the nights working fur with the radio on. Don't have that issue now but I have a lot of eye problems and just watching a game on tv will strain my eyes so bad that I can't hardly keep them open the next day.

Grew up listening to my team play on a tractor radio. I enjoy listening also because one of the radio announcers for my team was quarterback there years ago, and can give a deep look for what's going on in the trenches, and with Xs and Os.

Not college but the wife and I have a fire and a couple beers on Friday's to listen to our high school team. If the wind is right you can hear the cheers! Good times for sure

Love high school football. My favorite is probably little league.

I'd rather listen to football games on the radio also. Fall is the best season of the year - you won't find me inside watching anything.

Before we had a smart Tv and a streaming option for sports, we used to listen to Penguins Hockey on the radio. It was great.
“He doesn’t know whether to cry or wind his watch!!!”
“Elvis has just left the building”
“scratch my back with a hacksaw!”
“He beats him like a rented mule!”
And others from Mike Lange (I believe that’s who did it)
