Watching Jerry trapping marten on Mark Steck's trapping show on the Pursuit Channel...

Have read Cathryn's posts about Jerry's martin trapping . Good show watching him doing what he enjoys

Had a timer setup to record the shows but it wasn't recording. Called Dish to find out what the problem was. They told me that Wiebe Trapline Adventures couldn't be recorded due to Digital Rights. One of my favorite shows. That sucks!

ETex that is bull from Dish. I recorded both parts one and two and I have Directv.

It sucks. We don't get the pursuit channel
They took it off our dish package.

I asked if we could get a copy to watch,but despite being told I'd get one i never did.
I hope someone can learn something from the show.

That's all Jerry wanted...for someone to be albe to learn something from him...that's why he explained so much as they were filming the show

Jerry was a little upset because a buddy of his(and the producers) told him that he'd been told that the show was super hard to edit because Jerry talked too much while he was setting and checking the traps.

It was an experience for him but one he said he didn't care to ever repeat.

Goatman I'll have to call them again tonight and inform them that DirectTV allows it to be recorded. They may be loosing a long time customer!

That sort of thing probably slows him down some too.
Never cared to babysit people in the bush when trapping.
If they can be useful on the line-no problem.

How is the marten population doing this year where he traps.Lots of juveniles?

That's one reason I don't have Dish.

DISH is now Direct TV.
Lost a lot of channels on DISH even before Direct tv took over.
All they did was charged 10% more per month.

Hopefully someone who taped it can send a copy to Cathryn and Jerry

I don't remember the time but it was on channel 604. Pursuit channel. I watched the second part last night.
