Cool,
We just plant about a 10' square of it in with our sweetcorn. It does surprisingly well, getting at least 2ears to a stock.

Same farm in Illinois grew green beans as well as sweet corn also would raise 120 acres of popcorn. Theit harvest didn't give them a good yield but made a heck of a dove feeding ground. 20 minutes would yield you a 5 gallon bucket of popcorn on the cob.

I grew a rows in parents garden for few years when was kid. One year I had it next to couple rows Indian corn and it came out variegated colors. It popped but not as good as straight white. I know I got blisters on my thumbs shucking it. Now I like the yellow popcorn comes from Iowa.

Done for another year. Will that even last the day? Yea, I don't eat the stuff. Wife does and makes half/cup of kernels at a time which fills a big bowl. That'll hold her for the year. We give some to the neighbors to, that's what we're keeping.
