I hope the driver was able to claim the teeth and claws….

I hope they do an accident investigation as to the cause and if the driver is found to be negligent in the operation of the vehicle, e.g. speed, drunk, inattentiveness, etc. he / she is charged with the appropriate violation(s).

That bear was a menace for years in town. She raised her cubs the same way.
Those bears have no fear and do not need federal protection.
Sad to hear she died that way instead of old age but no sleep lost over it for sure.

She "Barely" knew what hit her.

Son sent me a screen shot on Onx with pins where he was hunting and where the bear was hit. About 2 miles. Sent a picture of griz tracks this weekend right by his camp. Might have been her.

We saw 8 grizzlies on Wednesday of last week while hunting Elk in WY. There is no shortage of them and there needs to be a season.

Fun starts when you find them standing in their tracks…
