Not a terrible thing to happen. Has been teaching her cubs to cause problems for generations. Most bears doing what she has been doing would have been relocated or killed long ago but her celebrity status precluded actually dealing with her. Hopefully the vehicle didn’t suffer too much damage.

We saw 8 grizzlies on Wednesday of last week while hunting Elk in WY. There is no shortage of them and there needs to be a season.

Truth to that

sad

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

It's a whole different attitude when you actually live in griz country and have experience with some of them, or know others who do. Locals here have a dim view on habituated bears. Ranchers can also tell many stories on this.

I would bet most of the adoring "followers" of that animal are in cities, or back east, and even other countries. If they've even seen a griz in a zoo, much less in the wild , glaring at a homeowner through the window from the porch door.

If they were managed, as they are in Alaska, there wouldn't be half the issues as there are presently.
