Long story short, question for you guys that employ other people.

Instead of a real SS#, is it possible to enter 000-00-0000 into E-verify to get permission to hire illegal aliens?

Wait.....what? I thought it was a felony to hire illegals and E-verify was setup to allow employers to check status so as to keep themselves out of trouble?

So federal government is allowing / instructing employers to knowingly violate federal law? Does that mean they have a "get out of jail free" card?

AND, if this any old random SS# happens to be my SS# and that is what the illegal uses from that day forward, wouldn't that mean there are now two of us joined at the hip? Illegal now cross contaminating my records? My ID now tied to his? If true, that is even more worse than I thought.

Fun stuff, but still looking for an answer.

This morning on Fox and Friends, Steve Doocy mentioned he knew somebody who was wanting to hire an illegal, but said illegal had no SS# to run thru E-verify. Guy trying to stay on good side of evil empire by complying with federal law. So told illegal sorry, can't hire you. Next day, somebody calls and threatens employer with discrimination suite.......guy tells threatening caller about E-verity and no SS# and guy on other end instructs him to us 000-00-0000. Got the green light from E-verify and he hired the illegal........and is apparently clean doing so.

So is this possible and OK?

So on it's face, there are two rules are in force.........illegal to hire an illegal........but also illegal to discriminate against an illegal that has been allowed into country. The government is instructing employers to ignore the law. Requiring them to ignore the law.

So second part, while they may allow / require you to hire the illegal, I'll bet dollars to donuts what they won't allow you to do is not withhold Social Security. Both halves. So if the social used for the hire is 000-00-0000 who gets credit? Is this a windfall for Fed?

So third part......does this now create an ID for some person (say Juan Valdez) with last 4 digits of social ending in 0000? Does that allow Juan to register to vote?

Now comes part 4. Little mention of it in news, but did hear a report that government had quietly cancelled millions of notices to appear in court to process asylum claims. Somebody needs to hang from the highest tree.......and I' can name their names.
