Nice! Our limit here in PA is two. I have a hard time filling it. Not for lack of birds, more for lack of the ability to hit them. LOL

I only saw one once flush out in the rhododendron on mountain state land in the Laurel highlands. Scared us so bad. Chuckie shot and it fell but we could never find the thing!!
I heard they are delicious

That’s about 5 years worth in my area of WV. I’m lucky to see more than 1 a year.
I hope to make it back to Maine to bird hunt. When I was moose hunting around Jackman 10 or so years ago it was insane how many birds we ran across.

The worst is when they flush in the dark on the way in to hunt spring turkeys.
