May more follow in their path.

I try to digest the wolf situation down in the colonies. A big part of me aligns with wolves will be wolves. But, the voices of those who know, and lose through loss of stock and game is overwhelming.
Without getting political, I firmly believe that the potential negative impact, for folks like us on this site, was weighed as a benefit to a cause that we do not align with.

If that were true there wouldn’t be news of it. Would you agree?

Eliminating farming and hunting is part of their utopia, and wolves decimating livestock and game populations is one way to reduce/eliminate farming and hunting. Playing the long game they are.

Funny you don't see a reward when someone gets shot in Chicago.

I must have missed where it said the wolves were killing livestock.
Hope they catch the poachers.

This is true, and it is sad that so many people don't understand it. Introducing the wolves in Washington, Oregon and California is a small step in a 40 year plan eliminate all hunting and all PRIVATE farming.

Wherever wolf packs have become established in the U.S. big game populations have declined dramatically. They are not just problematic for livestock down here. While I do not condone poaching, government supported expansion of wolf populations is a very bad thing.

Your big game is likely overpopulated and doing damage to the ecosystem because of the lack of wolves.
Like beaver, another keystone species too few wolves is as bad or worse than too many.

Wolves have pushed the big game out of the forest and into ranchland, govt pays when big game damage crops and fences or at times the ranches are left on the hook. Game herds are still there, just in alfalfa fields

Wolf introduction and protection, and the introduction and protection of any top predator species, is just another facet of the anti-gun agenda of the left. When non-human predators are controlling the cervid prey species, hunting is no longer a valid justification for gun ownership. On a similar thought, requiring guns in the home to be "secured" makes them no longer useful for home protection. If a firearm is not useful for home protection, there is no longer any justification to have a firearm in the home. The left is pushing hard on both facets of this agenda.
