Anyone got a Kimber 30-06?? I was given two of them through the years as tokens of appreciation. They are KIMBER 84L Classic Select (French Walnut) 30-06 Springfields.

One of them I have used with maybe 20 rounds through it the other hasn't been fired. It really is a great gun and is has done a great job on big game.

Anyone have a Kimber and do you like it?? My gun of choice now if I need a rifle.

Has Kimber tightened up their QC?
I know that they had, in the past issues ranging from FTF, accuracy due to poorly machined crowns at the muzzle, and reported feeding problems associated with mag follower or mag spring issues.

On the other hand they aren’t super expensive and most anything is fixable.

I have a couple of Kimbers, a 280AI and one of the Oregon 22lr. Both are very good shooters.

Had a select like you have in 257 Rob. Gave $850 for it brass and dies. Shot well, killed a buck or two and traded. Too nice for the way I hunt.

Also a Montana in 25-06. Again, great shooter. Kids killed several deer over about 4 years. Traded for a custom rifle.

I have yet to see one that wouldn’t shoot MOA.
