Spam is great camp food.
Morning: Fry it like bacon or cube and fry then add eggs & cheese

Noon: Slice fry, put it between tween two pc of buttered bread with cheese and mayo, fry till bread is brown.

Night: Cube, fry add to can of beans. Slice cold and eat on crackers & cheese.

Maybe 50-60 other ways that come to mind when you start slicing.lol

I always have spam around camp, doesn't go bad, fast and easy.

Hike in and camp where ever you end up is,,,keep things light as possible. At actual hunting camp,,,we eat like kings. At least one meal of either Ribeyes or New York Strip Steaks.Charcoaled.With salt potatoes, sour cream and chives and maccaroni salad and another vegetable. We dont eat breakfast before we go hunting in the morning(bring some jerky or snacks in your pack),,but when we get back,,we eat big breakfastes.Homemade sausages,,bacon,,eggs,,bisquits gravy,,homefries made from left over salt potatoes.Eating well at camp to us is part of the camp experience.
