I was trying to get the wood stack covered before the rain with stiff old semi tarps as usual. They keep hanging up on things in the other side so I climbed on top and worked it over. It's always the easiest way. We'll today some of the stack under my feet collapsed to the ground and very unusual for me I went with it. now the stack was only about 6 and a half feet high so it was not a big fall. I did bounce like a pin ball between a locust tree and the stack on the way down so have some, well half of my back and left hip have respectable scrapes. The ground was a nice soft landing in comparison.

First thing out of my 12 year Olds mouth was dang dad that's the first time I have ever seen you fall normally your fast and never hit the ground and you never fall. Yep not are you ok... Guess even though I fell I must still be supper man in his eyes.

The scrapes are well scrapes and so far everything works but I am having some issues with my knee. not all the time but sometimes in a step it gets unpleasant below and to the left side of the kneecap on my right leg side. Getting older and being complacent is catching up with me. I went out to get it done before hopping in the shower when I saw it was starting to rain. I was in my boxers and unlaced boots. Would not have hit the ground had I laced my boots.

Don't get in a hurry and complacent. Something tells me I'm going to be sore .

Gravity sucks. Hope you bounce back….

we are just getting to that age where we get to , remember our missed moves for a few extra days or a week , sometimes longer and it is only going to get worse

I had a lump for 3-4 weeks from where the dog hit me . probably didn't help it made the blood clot in my leg act up , running in the yard one day , hobbling with a cane a few days later

you peaked your invincibility a while ago you just didn't notice the slow decline in invincibility , but it will show you quick when you mess up now.

I realized how fast the last 20 years went then it hit me in 20 years I will be as old as my dad

Getting a little of that now or at lest my wife has been. Not really with me any yet. I did recently wrestle with them some and easily controle Them this week and a few weeks back my 14 year old was walking around flexing and looking at himself so I arm wrestled him with my left arm because he is left handed and had no issues playing with him. Eventually his arm was wrong out and shaking and he decided he had enough matches.

Now the youngest is thick in the head cleanly gets beat controled and keeps coming back for more.

It sounds like you tore your medial meniscus. I did that last year. I had surgery to fix it and fell a week later getting out of the shower, destroying it. My left knee is screwed. I hope you don't have any major issues.

boy I hope not! I have 3 more day shifts Fri Sat and Sunday. Scheduled off Monday. working nights Tues through Thursday and in off 14 days. it's not killing me painful now just let's ke know it's there worst spot is now on the inside of my leg about even or so with the top of the knee cap but off to the side of it about 1/2 to 1/4 inch so not on the knee cap at all of to the side and about an area the end of my finger covers it. I'm working on hanging insulation on the kids building and came for some coffee. Didn't notice it as much when working just a dull I'm hear but decided to sit for a min when talking to My wife in the kitchen. sitting .seemed t maybe make it more irritated. Fells better more straightened out.

It's not anything I would think I can walk of in a few days to a week and not bad enough I would feel like a chicken if I went to get it looked at but... maybe I should if it is a tear. Do they find that with ultra sound or is it a CT scan? Little walk in place is also a limited ER after 9 pm and I know they have ultra sound there.

Real discomfort will show up in 24-48 hours...that's how it is for me.amyways

That's where my miniscus tore, except on my left leg instead of my right. I hope you didn't damage it. They didn't let me put any weight on my leg for 6 weeks and a day.
