Those are pretty cool. 3D printers are awesome. I had a friend make me all bushings for the front end of my 2014 550 polaris.

My buddy has been tinkering with 1911 grips, too. They look really great. Iv been thinking of investing in one for my boys. A 3D printer, I mean.

Is that plastic hard or softish like a rubber Pachmar grip?

I'm 99% sure it's hard plastic. The black is the texture of grip tape. The color ones are clear plastic, which is so cool. Iv seen some really cool skeletonized grips. Gives you the ability to see the brass, but it's not practical because of dust.

TPU is a flexible plastic for 3d printers, I haven't used it yet as I'm still pretty new with them

I haven't done grips yet but I did a dummy print of my XD. It is surprisingly accurate . Good for drawing practice, making holsters etc.

I haven't tried them on frogs......yet.
I gave some to two young city boys and the youngest asked me if they were for frogs, so I thought it was a good name.
