I hate having the socks I'm wearing slide down to my toes when wearing waders. I found some wool "wader socks" from cabelas, and seriously never owned better socks. They reach up over your calves, and will not slide down during the day. Since I like them so much, I assume they will be discontinued soon. Order some and keep them re-stocking them!

So basically they're like dad office socks but from Cabelas?

Bought a pair myself a few years back after spending most of the day in waders with socks pulled down to my toes. They are good socks and stay put. I'd recommend them.

I've got 4 pairs of socks from scheels and they do pretty good job at keeping my feet warm.

I've been wearing the wool socks from Cabela's for many years now.

Not sure if they still replace them when they get holes in them or not. I don't worry about it.

If I happen to get a gift card for Cabela's or BPS I buy socks with it.

They're comfortable and last a long time, even in safety tied work boots

Another thing I found helpful is, they make a strip of neoprene and inch or two wide with velco that you lightly stretch around your long johns / sweat pants and sock thus keeping everything in place. It also gives me a little added ankle support. Only a few dollars at bass pro or cabelas. I liked them so much I got several sets.
