Man, I remember my first coyote. Caught it in a fox trap. What are going to do with your first coyote young man? Coyotes were $75 bucks in the 80's . Bought myself a Ruger 10/22 with the proceeds. I bet it would make a nice rug.

That coyote shouldn't cost you over $50 including shipping to get tanned. Skin it yourself (with help from someone), flesh it and ship it to Moyles and pay $50. You may want to research this a little. Get the hide off it and freeze it. The rest is no rush.

Yes that’s extortion! You can do it!!!! And if you’re afraid of messing it up, find another trapper to help you. Shoot back in 2000 I bought a completely done bear rug from a taxidermist for $350.
Of course that was back in 2000 (ages and ages ago)

Definitely expensive, but the coyote is already at the taxidermist. Probably the only way this kid would have been able to keep the coyote from be ruined.

You’re right. My fox mount is costing me a pretty penny and I used to fiddle with taxidermy myself but I didn’t want to ruin my special memory. Because that was very likely.
