My daughters each year would try out to dance with Russian Ballet troupe for the Nutcracker Ballet show. It is an advertising niche that sells tickets but they do cut a lot of kids trying out. I am assuming if the kid is not going to make them look good or require a lot of attention they don't want them.

This year my daughter Grace tried out and got two parts. But this year it is the troupe from the Ukraine not Russia. What is going on in the world effects everything. The girls have talked with the dancers over the years and coming to the U.S.A. was huge for the Russian's.

Thanks. The bigger point was the Russians are not the troupe anymore and the Ukraine troupe is. What a life changer, good and horrible, for both troupes.
