Found one we wanted. Got him within 100 yds but the doe took him wrong direction. Not a super scoring deer but he was an old 6Χ6 with sick mass and good width. Didn't spook them so we hope they bed back in same area and we can have all day to stalk him. About a 2 1/2 hr stalk. It was a blast.

Maybe I should have drug you along on some of those clanish Roxbury folk deer drives. If any of us was within 100 yards of anything we wanted it either got dropped or headed out for Marion Co without lookin back. Probably 1/2 dead too.

Wolfie or one of those young trendy guys gonna have to tune on ya so you don't leave St Francis hungry.

Lol. I may be tougher than I am smart. Though probably don't rate too high in either category. Lol
Boy might have lowed his standard a fudge on one that wasn't too far from the road this evening, but as usually is the case we needed it to zig and instead it zagged and just kept feeding away from us.
Tougher conditions today, high winds and occasionally spitting rain. Last day tomorrow then we will be sitting in trees like monkeys hope a whitetail walks by. Lol

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
