Any care to venture a guess on the value of eastern coyotes this?
Will they be worth skinning?

I haven't seen anything to lead me to believe they will have a commercial value. If you have access to crafters there is always some reason interest.

I talked to my fur buyer 10 minutes ago. He said $15 tops for finished select coyotes.

I talked to my local fur buyer a few days ago. No interest in Coyote. All he wanted was Bobcat, Beaver and Otter.

Will not skin any this year, all my fur did well at the VTA sale except for yotes. I will trap them but will not spend time skinning them. Eric

Grony said in a posted video that they will be buying coyotes this year. That's a first in 3 years. Not expecting much, but they have retail outlets in China. I'd save only the absolute best ones.

I'm only skinning the better colored coyotes for our tanned fur project.I will skin and may sell a couple marten and a bobcat or two later,I have a couple of muskrats no mink yet and yesterday coon for the tanned fur project,I'll trap some ermine also for the project also.

Hopefully something happens and the only thing people want is FUR

The bad is when it happens fur becomes a lot harder to get and johnny sneakums come out , Don't ask for to much you just might get it , along with thousands of newbie trappers wanting to cash in on the fur trade . Been there in the boom days and it is not as fun.
