Caught an albino shrew today, been catching a lot of short tailed shrews this year. Tried to show the pink eye.

I bet he'd be worth a few bucks to a taxidermist. Interesting looking little thing.

Shrews are the hardest thing to prepare because the internal digestion system rots from the inside out and the hair sluffs off if there was any pressure on the internal organs.
Freeze drying is the best bet

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

Line Jumper. With over 80000 caught shrews of 9 species, I've never caught an albino. Way to go!!!

actually the short tail shrews usually do not carry many fleas...self groomers ?< dont know>
Winter weasels you can see them as they show through the thin skin and the hair is shorter.
