That is always exciting to see them in the wild. I have also had on two different occasions and yes, they are big.

We are not in mt lion country here in the ozarks but half the people you talk to see them regularly and most of the ones seen are black  it's so hard not calling bs when people I respect tell me the same thing! I always add that Ive trapped a long time an have never seen a track or a big cat in this state. does a rouge cat pass thru KS once In awhile? no doubt but the odds of seeing one are about like winning the lottery. seen plenty of tracks in nm and co

I was fortunate enough to see 3. 2 were behind hounds in Utah, and one crossed the road in front of us in northern Wisconsin.
