Duchunr OP trapper D Joined: Oct 2022 Posts: 12 PA	I'm looking to add a few of these for coyotes this season. Anyone have any insight or preference of the regular jaw or laminate ? I'm surprised that the laminate jawed traps are cheaper than the regular jaw, especially with the extra work involved in making them... Last edited by Duchunr; 11/06/24 07:45 AM.

rick olson trapper Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 7,072 Northern Mn	I don't have any of the Jr's,plenty of the Extreme's.You'll want the laminate to off set the power of these great traps,there lock up is something else,be careful where you set them,avoid dog area's etc.walker's etc.close to the farmer's farm.Good luck this season.

Duchunr OP trapper D Joined: Oct 2022 Posts: 12 PA	Thanks, Rick. I'll actually be trying to catch coyotes on a 145-acre farm we just recently purchased, so unwanted catches SHOULDN'T be an issue. We've got a ton of them on the farm and their numbers need to be reduced...

maurob trapper M Joined: Dec 2013 Posts: 356 Upper Michigan	I run a few 2 coil juniors as well as 4 coil. I have no complaints or concerns with the laminated 2 coils. You will want the 4 coil if frozen ground is a concern.
