Size 0 Square two hold pinch pan. It does have Blake and Lamb style chain which I don't know if it is correct. I cannot make out the stamp on the pan. Just No. 0 in the bottom corners.

Hope this helps.

Square , 2 hole pan is probably a Sargent or possibly Crescent. I do not know enough about them to say whether that chain is correct or not.

Pinch-pan usually means Triumph.

I still think Sargent or Crescent. Clincher also had a pinch pan trap but the ones I have seen were round. I do not recall seeing a pinch pan Triumph ( pinched cross yes), or any Triumph long springs with a square pan. Just what I recall.

Thanks guys. Is that chain correct? I have seen them with twin loop chain or figure eight chain but never the Blake style chain.

I’ve had Sargents with the Blake style chain.

I have 6 sizes #0 thru #4 Sargent traps, 2 sporting square two hole pinch pans with very good stampings (P.98 Trap Collectors Guide). My #0 has an Oneida figure 8 chain and the other is a #3 with a B & L lock link chain without ring like pictured in post. I’m new to trap collecting, caught the incurable disease after visiting Tom Par’s Trap Museum last year.

I’d rather be lucky than good any day
