Ha, crazy, same here. I had a nicely place #3 soft catch all set and ready to go, but was laying on top of the dirt in front of the hole. Shoulda taken a pic. What a nice fox to leave it for me like that….lol.
It’s game on now. No snare for that fella, gotta get him in a foothold.

I'm sure you just found that picture on-line and post it to make warrior feel better. However, everyone knows you're better than that.

Well I'm kind of stuck on this job. Gated one road subdivision, only two empty lots in it. This one that is cleared and one fully wooded but the neighbors use it.

Trapped this subdivision five or six years now caught over a dozen off this one lot. Quarter acre lots, maybe a dozen houses.

Big picture, this subdivision with its wooded ditch creek is the north/south corridor connecting golf courses north and south. The lot is in the center of the U where road bends, creek down the middle of the U.

City trapping.

When these coyotes are gone it'll be red fox next. I alternate yotes then reds on this one.

That sounds like very tough conditions but I am assuming it must be VERY lucrative or you wouldn't be messing with it.

Not that tough and yes I charge well for it.

Big part of it is finding the big picture as city terrain is full of funnels. From that locate the micro locations. This one lot just happens to be where all the Xs cross. Also why this subdivision has new coyotes every year. I go in pull out four to six each year.

The backyard of the one across the road is good as well. If snares were legal their landscaping is perfect for hanging snares. But that would be on the front yard corners so even if legal it would not be PC, lol. The houses each side are fenced is why they travel that lot.

City folks really have no idea what walks through at night unless it shows up on the ring camera.

I have pinched them before and caught them the next night. I will say that has only happened with one lure. It came from a member here and can’t be purchased.
