Why do you think bigger cities are occupied by liberals? Is it because of jobs that require degrees, which are filled by indoctrinated college graduates? Or are liberals born, or raised, as weak and dependent people who need others around them to feel secure?

My theory is a lot about exposure. Many aren’t exposed to a lot of stuff so they don’t have the first hand experiences to form accurate understandings of realities. That’s not all of it, but a large portion for sure. And it does work both ways. Happy trapping! ScottW

They may be but if they are 10 out of every 100, where are most of them?

X2 All many of them, their entire life is inner cities. Their only influences are celebrities and the media.

That map shows the election results by congressional districts not by county or metropolitan areas. 20 of the 33 counties in New Mexico voted red this election. We're controlled by 3 cities in the state.

Those red and blue maps can be misleading. Land doesn't vote, people do. For example, that little blue dot in northeast Illinois has about the same population as the entire states of Nebraska and Wyoming combined. As far as why leftists live in cities, they have a need to feel part of a group. Yes Kaczynski wrote about how leftists feel weak as individuals and how they feel that being part of a group (I e. Communism) is the only way they can feel powerful. See paragraphs 13-19 of Industrial Society And It's Future, for those interested. Ted had a lot of good stuff to say about leftists.

If you take those couple of blue dots out of Illinois we would be a red state. As it is those two blue dots control. The whole state. The population of cook county can outvote all the other counties combined. It’s the reason we have a democratic governor, senate and house.

Well......that's how democracy usually works. The guy/gal that gets the most votes wins.

It’s the reason there needs to be an electoral college at the state level.

I am 45 miles from Manhattan. I had a friend who convinced his girlfriend to move in with him in this area. She lived all her life in NYC.

Hardest part for him was teaching his 42yo girlfriend how to drive a car for the first time in her life. Not fun.
Kids raised on a farm learn how to drive a pickup ( on the farm ) as soon as they can reach the pedals.

cragar even out here one of my wife friend had an issue with me letting my kids drive on the road when they were around 8 at one of our hunting spots. it's an 8 mile road that dead ends into the Ohio River and 3 houses that don't use the back gate to their development and go out through front not this road cant get out in the winter . I wanted them to have the confidence and ability to at least get up to the camp ground sna dnr station if something happened to me because cell service is not available down there. She could not understand my reasoning even after explaining it because it's breaking the law. Like you Saud they have Been driving sxs, 4 wheelers, and cars and trucks on the farm starting about 3 sitting on my lap until they could reach the pedals. 4 wheelers were first on their own because of hand control throttle

And that is why we are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC, not a democracy.
