for not the people who raided their farms with a militarized food safety agency to keep them from selling milk and other food products to people who knew exactly what they were buying.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Nor for the people that would shut their outside toilets down in an attempt to take their land to build an airport !

I doubt many Amish voted in NY. I do business with some local Amish, and mennonites ,they all told me they do not vote.

Hard to believe, since most Amish in my area are from PA.

Amish aren't an homogenous group like most of us "English" believe. They have several different orders and vary by whoever the local bishop is.

Here in NE Ohio the Amish community is growing. Each church is governed by their bishop (pastor). He determines what is permitted in his particular church. Each church is made up of the families in a defined area. There was a local situation where a bishop decided that it wasn't permitted to use a computer for business purposes, so an Amishman moved across the street to the neighboring church that allowed it. I have a good friend the left the Amish years ago. He helped his BIL make hay, and his BIL got in trouble for using the same machinery the my friend was allowed to use. That's when he decided something isn't right about their religion. Had a buddy say the best way to get something approved to use, was to get the bishop one.

Here they can use power equipment....just not pneumatic tires. One has a bulldozer! laugh
laugh. Only single axle trailers were allowed until Bishop Jacob Schwartz wanted one with two axles

Everything I searched, states there are around 90,000 Amish in PA, and only about 45,000 voting age.

There's a little over 180,000 Amish adults in the total US. I spent Tuesday, after voting, with a former Amish, friend of mine, who came up.from Kentucky to visit. His dad is an Amish bishop. He told me that the Amish bishops told their congregations to register and vote for President Donald Trump, because of the democrat attacks on their way of life.
