DaveP OP trapper D Joined: Jan 2007 MD	Sunrise from the deer stand. Had a doe come by right after I took pic creek edge, , but out about 60 yds. 20 minutes later nice buck nose to ground, trailing her. Went back out about 3:00, wasn't in stand 15 minutes, heard grunting and chasing. Doe ran RIGHT under me, buck steady grunting, right behind her. Shot ihim inside 10 yards, X bow. November 10-14 is ALWAYS prime time here. Best part? Our baby came by for supper, 6'3 and 230, drug it out for me and had it hung and skinned in time for supper. Ham, cornbread, asparagus with creme sauce and baked Mac and Cheese. Not a bad day at all Last edited by DaveP; 11/10/24 06:47 PM.
