Keith, I've been fortunate enough to find quite a few silver coins over the years metal detecting. And i've been lucky enough to find a few key date coins also. I've found the best place for the key date coins was fleebay. I don't bother with getting them slabbed as that just adds to the cost. I take quality pics from every angle possible and have had no problems selling there. That's likely where you will reach the collectors that may be looking for a particular date/coin. I'm at 33 silver coins for the summer but i didn't hunt much do to the dry weather. Don't go to the pawn shops as you will just leave angry. It's what they do.
