That was just my first day I could hunt. Saturday I crawled into a stand but struggled to get back to truck. Went home at 11 and had to stop at parents house to rest. I still got several crop tags plus 6 state tags. Friday I’m getting serious about putting a nice bucks on the ground

Lol that’s the last Tacoma I owned. I went to full size Chevy Silverado because I love the extra room and I got better gas mileage from a full sized vehicle. Don’t intend to starts discussion about the most durable vehicle. Reason was stated. More room better mileage.

Dag gum,

I'm not in your league if'n you can kill deer from a bicycle!

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

jbyrd- But over on the "Is it a lethal shot?" (or whatever the title of that thread was) last week you already had claimed 400 and said you were pushing towards 500. Now you're saying you've nailed less than 200 here. What gives? You have to keep them Excels updated

160user- I think you missed that thread. Lots of high numbers being discussed there. One of the Marylanders told of a young lad that had killed a 100 by the time he had turned 18 or so. The young guy had supposedly killed 30 does in one year-- I would be rather sick of skinning and butchering venison by that point but to each their own. When the Administrative State says, "go kill as many of my anterless deer you can", there will be people that will oblige.

The best I've done on anterless deer is doubling up a couple of times. One time it was pushing (walking) a CRP field, carrying a .22-250 no less (70 grain spitzer load I've done, sort of a .243 light that way). The other time I was a "blocking" by standing in the back of my brother's pick-up bed and they ended up pushing some towards me. I shot the big doe first because I figured she was smarter than the fawns and then shot one of the post-sucklers after it stopped after seeing momma hit the ground. I felt a bit bad about that but the thought didn't linger long. That action probably took all of about 20 seconds from the time I first saw them until the second one was down. That was with my main rifle, a Savage 110 .308 with a heavy barrel and shooting my 125 grain Nosler loads I make.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground".

Lol you need to read that thread again!! Not my claim to fame. Another member that I shall not name made that statement in 2018. I questioned him and his hatred grew. I’ll leave it at that as I don’t want this thread to get axed.
Before I started to have farmers asking me to fill crop damage tags I was only allowed to kill 2 deer per year. 1 buck only! You do the math 1 buck us still in place but some of the state had unlimited does if you buy more tags. Most hunters won’t live long enough to kill 400 deer. Animal control bring exception of course .

I knew I had some pics of just how Dorothy mode works. Remember I had time to get phone out and take pictures. These we’re lucky ones I didn’t shoot. Unless you witness it it’s hard to believe how close you can get to s deer while riding a bike

Honestly I’ve seen them at 250 plus yards in the beans. I’ll ride up to about 100 lay bike over. I carry my rifle slung bandolier style. Swing it around and up. Settle crosshairs. Timing any wobble to pull trigger as cross hairs are on shoulder area. Takes practice shooting off handed. My age and style I hunt I’ve had tons

Why not? Not shooting from the road Plus anything less than 1000 watts is still considered a non motorized vehicle. Not actually on the bike when shooting. So unless they have laws against shooting standing beside a bike laying on the ground I think I’m ok !!!
Mine is 750 watts legal on hiking trails in US forest service But don’t hunt public land.

I knew some would question my technique just because they hadn’t thought of it or just don’t want other to be successful. I purchased this bike after under going spinal fusion. But mainly because the farm I wax hunting lay on a river bottom. Around 300 yards wide but 1.2 miles long. As others had stand on back of farm I didn’t want to drive past their location messing them up. Also big plus is j can put all clothing on and not be sweat drenched by time I’m in my stand. It was after couple times coming in and out I realized how deer simply stared at me and let me pass without a flinch. I am simply utilizing knowledge I obtained from time in the field

Have a great day every one

Only a lawyer knows for sure.
Our written laws are difficult.
Are drones legal for hunting there?

Don’t know don’t own a drone. Plus I’m not an attorney but I can read game laws. Nothing in my state about shooting beside a bike. Work / hunt smarter not harder.

I’m not. So no handicap individual are permitted to hunt from their vehicle or side by side ? Heard new York had funny laws. Dig a little bit more.
