Good luck to you, I am glad it doesn't get that cold in Central PA.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Nice pictures Tramp!
I have a couple of things to add that will help. I try to use marten poles that are only 3-4 inches thick. So that they have a very small runway up and down the pole, keeps them centered over your pan. I would also knock all those small branches off around your running pole. It doesn't take much to damage a marten and you can loose a lot of money when they get tangled up in all that brush. If you use a piece of string or wire to barely hold the trap in place, you don't have to cut that big chunk out of the tree to hold your trap. Save your grouse and duck wings, put one at each set, you can add lure to the wing and use it like you would bait, until you get more bait or you run out. If you use Surveyors tape to tie the trap to the pole, it doubles as a attractor and you can find them faster.
The other thing I suggest is to raise up your Catch All Set, about 4-6 inches. It makes it easier to the wolverine, fox and lynx to get their head in. You will get less refusals and more animals if you raise it. You might also add a little more spruce to hide the 330 a little more. Get a few pieces of wood under the jaws so they don't freeze down will help too. I hope you get a big wolverine! Temps are supposed to drop mid week next week here in Alaska. Down to single digits for the lows and in the teens for the highs. Good luck!
My Super Wide will pull your broken down 4 stroke, up a hill backwards, with you on it!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for sure, I do have my 330's sitting on sticks so they don't freeze down, the wolverine game is new to me, I'm from SE and we really don't have many. So last season was my first year trapping the mainland, and I kept it simple and stuck to beaver, otter, mink, and marten. This year I have a little more time available, and got a snow machine up here, so that opened up a lot more options. In SE a snow machine is almost worthless most years, a boat is a much handier tool, so I'm learning the differences as I go lol

A finishing nail holds a foothold in place. I use a piece of wire wrapped around the frame and the pole loose enough that it'll come off when it catches one. I use finish nails sometimes too, but they're in one of my totes that get used for trapping out of the truck or a snow machine, I use a pack basket with a skeleton tool set when I'm on snow shoes (this little line I walk into from the back corner of a friend's property)

So far no major movement on the line, a few mink tracks here and there by the creek, so I blind set 110's in them. Put in a bunch more running poles, hoping the mercury drops like they say it will, should create some movement Hopefully will be the same here as well.
