looks to me like they left the neck roast , some rib meat a little brisket and organ meat

other than that it looks like a no skin gutless

For the last few years, I have been bringing my deer home with the guts still In. It makes for such a clean gutting job.
I helped do 2 moose and we never gutted them just skinned and cut then up.

There probably ain't 2lbs of meat left on that deer if it's a Texas deer. Guys here skin out the hind quarters, cut off the back straps and toss the rest. Coyotes and Eagles gotta eat too. lol

Mo has a wanton waste law against leaving any commonly used part of an animal. That's 2 neck meat roast' at least wasted.
Plenty of meat left on those ribs to feed a dog several meals

I wonder if that deer was hit by a vehicle and if they just didn't cut into where it was hit at?

if it is a mile drag in 80 degree heat , they probably have that done in 10 minutes and are back to the truck in 20 more.

2-3years ago in WI we notice a meat pole with 8 deer hanging the day after the rifle opener.

They hung on the meat pole until the first week in April with temps in the 70's. My wife actually called the DNR and was told "as long as they were taken legally, they can do whatever they want with them".

I guess commonly used parts depends on where you live. I don't know anybody who eats neck roast. If it's used at all, it's ground up. Any "innards" are considered waste material.

Now that is wanton waste and should be illegal imo

Not enough meat on a deer's ribs around here for me to mess with

Quarters, straps, tenderloins, and as much as I can trim off the neck.
