If it's anything like my area where everyone has free running dogs all year not really.
Actually had a guy out of state guy I talked to a while back bring some things up. Said he'd ask folks to tie up there dog when he was at camp. Never seemed to kill much after a few weeks of it few months later he didn't say anything and said he was seeing more deer then ever even if there was the occasional dog running round . Said he guessed the critters felt something was wrong when the local mutts went out and about.

Which I guess makes sense , critter do act weird when certain things start happening and their buddies start dying

Won’t have any issue. During muzzleloader season, my dog followed my trail out and came in front of my stand. 20 minutes after I ran him off, I killed a deer.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Even if the deer are used to it, I don’t like it when dogs come around.

I don’t recall killing a deer from a stand after a dog came around.

A dog collard or not outside of its owners property is not just wandering through looking for a spot to nap. It's cruising, looking for easy opportunities. It's not the dogs fault but it's genetic and will be an issue either to fawns, small game, calves, or small children. I'm sure everyone one has a story but feral or left to roam dogs are a big issue in more than 1 of the properties I spend time on.

Feral is the correct word. My neighborhood has 2 or 3 folks that feed stray cats and needless to say we have tons of them roaming around. County animal control is run by bleeding heart animal rights folks. The only thing they want to pick up is a paycheck.

I've whacked a yote with my bow and a deer 20 minutes later on the same trail. Unless it's chasing them, I doubt the deer will care.
