Can't visulize getting tenderloins and salvaging ribs or rib meat without removing that big bloated balloon inside?

Have seen a few dumped around here where they just skin the back far enough to get the back straps and dump everyhrelse in the ditch.

What I see and is that front shoulders are gone, back straps, and hind legs deboned. Pic doesn’t show but inner loins could have been removed too.

Not sure what was wasted?

Amen, no different than the dozen I saw laying on the side of the road today. Deer are an invasive species, as far as I'm concerned.

I keep a cordless sawsall, a clean blade, and a bread sack to use as a sleeve so I can take the ribs. One of everyone's fav meals and the neck yields enough meat for at least one meal of venison stroganoff.

I hate to waste much. I hunt close enough to home I can gut and process here. A water hose and a tractor bucket make it easy. A mineral lick tub keeps the waste contained and a good way to haul it off to a bait pile.

I've seen a lot worse. Found several in the park dumpster once with just the loins removed. The warden-ess in that particular area didn't think it was an issue. I know some that would.

if it is around the metro they are probably just excited to have any get shot , used or not.

I saw one in the DNR dumpster last yea hind quarters and loins was all and it was skinned just far enough to get that out.

it is nice of the to put out those dumpsters it makes picking up road kill a lot less of a commitment , if you find only a little useable then you just put the rest in the DNR dumpster .

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

It was in a Missouri state park where deer hunters were camping.

I have a personal policy that wildlife doesn't go into a dumpster. It gets set out for other wildlife to use it when at all possible. Not saying others need to do the same. It's just the way I do it.

Local deer processor dosnt take any rib meat. I have him save me some good clean ribs. Most won’t eat venison ribs but it’s one of my favorites. I broil them with sea salt till well done and eat them hot. Fit for a king. Most grouse hunters only take the breast but by far the legs are my favorite part. Wisconsin wardens are all different. A warden here when called for deer still hanging in April fined the lazy slug for wanted waste.

Now that is wanton waste and should be illegal imo

I agree Turtledale, that is wanton waste and I find it disgusting! When I was a kid and first leaning to hunt my father drilled it into me the importance of letting nothing go to waste. It's called "Having respect for the animals"

A lot of the old timers around here consider the neck roast the best part of the deer.
