Is a chicken wing too large to use as an attractor for bobcat or lynx. I like the size of a nice Mallard wing, but when spread out and dried, the chicken wings are much larger.

In for the opinions

I would not think size mattered in general

I can't speak for what would work in Alaska, but down here it works. I have used chicken, goose, guinea, turkey, duck, redwing black bird and....it all works. Squirrel and deer tails work too. I have found that its not the size, but contrast to background and location that matters when flagging.

I'd give it a shot. Let me know if it works, I have some hens that aren't laying anymore

That is exactly why I have them. A guy I knew had six laying hens that were not laying anymore- too old. I told him I would take them.
