I watched this years doe fawn walk up to my pond and drink, then start staggering and fall down. Then she got up and staggered about 15 yards and fell over and died. I thought she had been shot but I found no wounds, just a little blood in her nostrils. It is supposed to be 60 here today, I guess until it gets cold enough to kill the midge flies it will keep going. It really sucks, we have lost so many deer this year.

I feel your pain. Had a few does found in river but all our biggest bucks were found early to mid October laying on the river bank. Several does running around but my son killed 1 of 2 bucks we still had on camera. 38 here this morning so maybe it is over
