If I were a racoon
You'd never catch me soon
Even with bait you swoon
The effort seems real cartoon
Carefully set dogproof
Is only a spoof
As you check sets with a stare
How I ever tripped both pair
Trail cams being all the rage
See me dance around the cage
As if a New York stage
Back to tips on trap book page
My hide's not a coon skin hat
Or wall hanging mat
For that go to the bob cat
You've struck out at bat
220's not for me
Go hang it from a tree
I'm not your suitcase catch
That idea will never hatch
I'll avoid being road kill
Instead of trap story thrill
Ability in stealing bait
You've surely learned to hate
Finding me checking trap line
Will cost you more than a dime
Total cost is lots of time
& since I've run out of rhyme......
