I have a couple pounds of beaver castor and some oil sacs, looking for some input on how much skunk quill to add to a quart of ground castor. Also should I add oil sacs or not.
Expected trapping temperatures 30 deg f to 10 deg f, as I figure this may be a factor into the amount of quill.

As far as pure quill goes, obviously a little goes a long way. I like a loud call lure for fisher, but not so loud that it over powers whatever main ingredients the lure consists of. I would probably get 4-6 drops of quill would be ample, but start low and mix thoroughly and give it time to penetrate throughout the entire formula before adding more.
