Do u guys think flags spook coyotes

depends on the flag and on the coyote. your question is to vague. must be ten thousand different things used for bobcat flags.

Never had it bother them on my line.

To clarify, std dirt hole and bird wing or silver ribbon?

I use blue ribbon,,,,,

big flashy stuff will spook a lot of coyotes but not all.

I’ve caught coyotes where I used flagging for cats . I used the sliver Christmas tinsel or orange flagging that the surveyors use just depends on the location.

I caught my first coyote when I was 12 years old with a #4 jump trap. I had a duck wing and some tinsel hanging 3 feet directly over the pan. I had no idea what I was doing at the time. It actually was probably a fairly decent bobcat set but coyote was my main target and it worked.

My last coyote catch was both front feet , looked like he jumped for the tensile i was using for flagging.
