i’ve got some muskrats drying now. i want to keep them to the end of the season and send everything at once to the tannery. i plan to put them in some plastic vacuum bags in the freezer. Questions are, should i store them fur in or out and should i put paper or something between each pelt?

How long before you send the dried pelts to the tanner?

Well since your drying your rats they will be drying fur In. You can't dry rats' fur out. And It would be impossible to turn them fur out after they are dry. I see no need to vacuum pack them. Just put them in paper bags and place in the freezer.
