Asian markets
Gochujang chilli crisp, chilli garlic paste. That stuff will make a opossum appetizing.

Honestly they aren't expensive it's just the travel to one for me. They are cheaper than most supermarkets for spices, good noodles and rice

Funny I have had that but I think mine had jalapeno in it. Pretty good as I recall although wife and kids avoided it.. Came with some other products maybe mustard, ranch, etc.. Was a thank you gift from a customer who was a good 'ol boy from the great state of Bama. I had sent him a case of wine from Travis City which is where his wife was from. Have not heard from him in a while.

I think it's still on there and on some of their other products as well.

We used to refer to mutts as Heinz 57's.

I thought we didn’t have much growing up until I got close to this little gal in 7th grade. She ate rice and beans and beans and rice. Decided 9 years later to marry her. I can’t spend a penny without a full audit now smile

The only time I thought we were poor was chicken liver night. I did learn that going to bed hungry won’t kill you and doing so will allow you eat a really big breakfast. Which happened to be my favorite meal of the day. grin

All too familiar. My wife had one pair of shoes and they were hand me downs. They did have eggs, but when a hen cackled if she wasn't there first she had to wait for the next cackle. They had an old cow that roamed the country side and the milk tasted of garlic but it was still milk. That ended when her daddy was drunk and had wreck and had to sell the cow to get out of jail.
Those old scars are hard to wash off the mind. But the fact they are scars says a healing has taken place. Many times when the mind struggles the heart can carry us thru. And she has a good heart!
