Wytex, We've had some say that mid-November is too early to trap bobcats, but last year at the Glenn's Ferry auction in Idaho our lowest cat was $550 and we actually had top lot cat bought by Montana Fur for $1524. So, fully prime? I don't know but they must be close enough. With the exception of one small cat, the five we've caught this year are similar to those we caught last. There we're some buyers up there that were grading while we were up there. We asked them what they thought of our cats. One comment was, "I don't know where you guys trap, but you've got some good cats".

Savell, about twelve years ago when we got into bobcat trapping, there was a pretty long thread here on trapperman that was exclusively about bobcat trapping. We Learned most of what we do on our trapline from you and fellow trappers. I'm sure you had some good info there. We use dirtholes, flat sets, flags, bone sets, O'gorman, Junes, and Dobbins lures. Your sets probably look a lot better than ours. I think we just have some good locations with cats.

Utah allow non resident trapping?

… that’s great y’all were able to learn from the site… glad to hear I was a little part of it… I still think you should post some pics of your sets… I’d like to see them and think some of the newer hands could learn from it as well

… Hope your luck continues

Love,
