Last year I had a goal to catch one bobcat and it took me dang near all season to get it done. This year, I’m only running a half dozen sets close to home until after deer season and had this girl waiting on me today. I’m very happy.

This years goal is 5 cats so off to a promising start.

My boss just sent me this pic from the trail cam in front of his tree stand.
He won't let me trap there until he's done hunting. Probably be January.
This cat has a ton of color and spots for a cat from this area. Can't wait to get after it.

Holy crap that is gorgeous. Much better than the coloration we see locally.

We don't typically have that much color or spots around here either.
I'm hoping that he gets burned out on hunting soon so that I can get after this cat.
