Well, finally came together in a snowstorm this morning! Was down to our lease earlier this week and the trip started rough, grazed hair off the back of a doe Saturday evening, then did the exact same dang thing to a big heavy 7pt Sunday morning. Got to thinking about it and thought I may have been throwing my arm after switching to a thumb button release this season so went back to a trigger release. Went home to see the family for a couple days and got back in last evening before the storm, then this morning this guy came in with a hot doe and a smaller 8pt. I've had this guy on camera for several weeks and was really the top buck I wanted an opportunity at this season down here and it all came together!
