If I remember correctly, this photo hangs in Chikoot Charlie's in Anchorage ~ of course, that was 45 yrs ago when I worked up in the Last Frontier
If I give everything ~ is it enough?

I was stationed at Fort Richardson in 1971. Spent many an evening at Chilkoot Charlie's in Anchorage. It was a very unique establishment! Roy

I read that majority of the miners failed in their endeavors. The ones who got rich were the storeowners selling them supplies. Great photo!

https://dawsonmuseum.ca/collections/all?page=1bunch of pictures from dawsons museum. Ive always found the goldrush pretty interesting. Porters and thieves made a lot of money too. Ive always heard a lot of people cashing in gold werent the ones that did the hard work of finding it.
